PBS Corporation and PBS Guam curate FREE standards-aligned videos, interactives, lesson plans, and more for teachers, parents and students while at home during this COVID19 pandemic.

(MANGILAO, GUAM) PBS LearningMedia is a free resource for PreK-12 educators that supports distance learning. Educators, parents and students are encouraged to consider using PBS LearningMedia as you are developing your plans for learning at home.  PBS LearningMedia can be accessed by Teachers, Parents and Students by creating a FREE account at https://www.pbslearningmedia.org/.  

Collections contain lesson plans and supplemental materials for grades PreK – 12, all aligned to state and national standards, and easily searchable by grade level, subject matter, standards, and key content words.  Ina Carillo, PBS Guam General Manager states, “Many lesson plans and supplemental resources in this collection can be printed, and completed by watching program episodes on television, or videos online.”   The resources can also be easily integrated with digital classroom management systems.  Carillo also states “This service has been launched and implemented nationally and we felt that now more than ever our community could use these resources in the home setting while observing home isolation during this COVID19 pandemic”.
