The Guam Educational Telecommunication Corporation (KGTF), herein identified as “PBS GUAM”, respects the privacy rights of its members, donors, viewers and visitors to PBS GUAM’s websites located at www.pbsguam.org (the “PBS GUAM Site” or the “Site”). We have prepared this “Privacy Policy” so that you will know how and when we collect information that can specifically identify you (“Personal Information”), and how we use this information.

A separate Kids Privacy Policy governs the parts of the pbsguam.org that are directed at children under 13 years of age, including all web pages with an address that begins with http://www.pbsguam.org/kids. By participating in the PBS GUAM activities described below and using the PBS GUAM Site(s), you acknowledge that you have accepted the terms set forth in this Privacy Policy, the Kids Privacy Policy, the Terms of Use, and, should you participate in an Online Forum (described below) the rules set forth in Online Forums.

Gathering and Use of Information

1. We will not collect personally identifiable information from you, other than what you supply to us on a voluntary basis.

2. In order to participate in some activities, you might be asked to provide some personally identifiable information. This could be in connection with the following:
—contest or sweepstakes registration;
—subscription registration for sites or services which require subscription (such as e-mail newsletters);
—requests for membership information;
—transactions on PBS GUAM membership secure web pages;
—content submissions, community postings (i.e., forums, blogs or bulletin boards), comments and suggestions, or voting.

3. PBS GUAM will not willfully disclose your personal information to any third party without first receiving your permission.

4. PBS GUAM may use your personally identifiable information for activities explained above, for internal and marketing promotional purposes only. PBS GUAM will not share such information with any third parties without your prior approval.

If you do not want this information to be collected or used by us for these purposes, you can simply “opt out.” Under certain circumstances, opting out may prevent your participation in activities for which personal information is needed, as in contests.
